3. Pre-Transaction Disclosure Commitment
NillarPay is committed to showing all applicable fees before you confirm any transaction. Here is how fee disclosure works on our platform:
3.1 Transaction Confirmation Screen
Before you confirm any transaction, the NillarPay app will display:
- The transaction amount you entered.
- All applicable NillarPay service fees.
- Any third-party charges (e.g., NIBSS fees, biller convenience fees).
- The total amount that will be deducted from your wallet.
- The net amount the recipient will receive.
3.2 Fee Visibility
If a fee applies to a service, it is displayed at the service entry point (e.g., when you select "Send Money", the transfer fee schedule is shown before you enter the recipient's details).
3.3 Zero Hidden Charges
NillarPay does not impose hidden charges, maintenance fees, or inactivity fees beyond those listed in this Policy. If a charge appears on your transaction history that you did not expect, please contact our support team immediately.
4. Fee Changes and Advance Notice
4.1 Notice Period
We reserve the right to update our fee schedule at any time. However, we commit to providing advance notice as follows:

- Introduction of new fees: Minimum 7 (seven) calendar days advance notice.
- Reduction or elimination of fees: May take effect immediately.
- Regulatory-mandated fee changes: Effective from the date prescribed by the CBN or other authority.

4.3 Your Right to Close Your Account

5. Third-Party Charges
Certain transactions attract charges imposed by third-party networks or service providers that are separate from NillarPay fees. These include:
- NIBSS Instant Payment (NIP) fees: Set by the CBN and NIBSS, passed through at cost.
- Biller convenience fees: Some utility companies and billers charge a processing fee. These are always disclosed before transaction confirmation.
- Telco surcharges: Certain airtime and data transactions may include network provider charges.
